Mask Making in the Time of Covid-19

April 17, 2020May 7, 2020 / Vero

Yes, I'm publishing a post about masks, as has ever sewing enthusiast in the past month. Why? Here's why... Over the past few weeks, I went through the internal debate of whether to make fabric masks, who to make them for, and how to communicate the importance of good handling if one chooses to wear … Continue reading Mask Making in the Time of Covid-19

Today’s fun challenge was to design a @tangerinejukebox themed washi tape holder. I have a mountain of washi but would like to keep my favourite few at my desk - this felt like a good way to organise them, and to test my design workflow.
Happy weekend! Quiet evening catching up with my favourite YouTube telly; @furrylittlepeach, @leighellexson, @sadshrimps, @itsvalerielin and many other wonderful creators who inspire me 🥰
Took advantage of a quiet Sunday to cut and paint some storage for my little packing supplies. Feels good to organise things in easy to grab trays, and it’s a fun way to use up the plywood scraps created by a couple of recent bigger projects.
A bit in love with this experiment! Acrylic doesn’t have to be plain or be pre-designed 🥰
How have I not shared these yet?! A couple of weeks ago, @mimicodd shared her new rainbow trainers, which caused me to buy some, then @thespeckyseamstress and @boxsetsandbiscuits followed shortly thereafter. Because life needs more rainbows and we refuse to accept that adults should dress seriously 😝
Sweet little climbing trellis for my Pothos! To think she was a tiny 2 leaf cutting a year ago, she now needs a structure to climb or she’d be reaching the floor from the unit she’s on!
